A 33 year-old High School English teacher and father of two accepts an invitation to take a motorcycle trip from New Orleans to Lake Itasca, Minnesota. This is the story of that journey.

This is a tombstone at the Grand Gulf, Mississippi cemetery, which is the only real remnant of the City of Grand Gulf. The rest of it fell into the river.
